Bitcoin's little brother Ethereum is at an all-time high

It's not only Bitcoin that's breaking records these days. 

Now that the dust around the cancelled Bitcoin fork has settled, several other cryptocurrencies are booming. 

Ethereum, a cryptocurrency that's also a platform for decentralized apps, has hit a record high on Friday, surpassing the price of $410 for the first time since June. It's currently trading at $442 according to CoinMarketCap, with a market cap of more than $42 billion. 

The price rise comes weeks after a bug in a popular Ethereum wallet Parity froze $150 million worth of ether (Ethereum's currency), which caused a short-lived price drop for Ethereum.  Read more...

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows.
