Old Inspirations, Modern Aspirations! The Townships Farmhouse By LAMAS
The world of architecture is chocked full of interesting designs and builds. Today we get a look at something that effortlessly blends the old and new, rocking inspiration from the owner’s diverse tastes. The Townships Farmhouse By LAMAS is found in the farmlands of eastern Quebec and boasts unique cues from the surrounding area. The house is the home of a painter and avid art collector, as well as a worker on the active farm in which it is located.
The design features barn doors that protect large glass elements, which provide a functional approach. The courtyard design makes a nice touch while the interior features a minimal and rustic approach. The art collection is the focal point, while the exterior of repurposed hemlock salvaged blends effortlessly with the interior.
