It is hard to imagine that during the early years hip-hop was considered to be a fad. Well today, over 40 years later the word comes down that Hip-Hop Becomes To Most Popular Genre In The U.S. This interesting bit of news comes down from a semi-annual report published by Nielsen Music.

The report stated that R&B and hip-hop make up 25.1% of all music consumption in the U.S., while rock music sits at 23%. Rock still leads when it comes to album sales, but with physical record sales declining, hip-hop and R&B have filled a digital void. Hip-hop and R&B account for just over 29% of all on-demand streams, which continues to grow exponentially. Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
