Legendary Speed! A 1978 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

We love legendary and classic rides, and today we get a look at a pristine example. Today we get a look at a 1978 Aston Martin V8 Vantage which is set to hit the auction block rather soon. This unique and iconic ride features a hand-assembled V8 that was originally headed to Canada.

The ride landed in the hands of Vantage collector Kean Rogers and in 2005 got a complete engine rebuild to open things up from a 5.4 to 6.0 liters. The ride boasts 500 hp and 500 ft-lbs of torque, all with European-spec parts and work by Aston Engineering. Check out the design in the images below and give us your thoughts in the comments. Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
