Some people are worried about what 'Snap Maps' mean for teen safety

Snapchat has just launched "Snap Maps" which allows you to show your location, see your friends' on a map as well seeing snaps from places around the world. 

Snapchat released the update saying 'We've built a whole new way to explore the world! See what's happening, find your friends, and get inspired to go on an adventure!"

In the words of Jack Brody, product designer at Snap, the feature "isn't about where am I, it's about where are my friends and what are they up to?"

But many people have raised privacy and safety concerns about the new feature — particularly for teenagers, as the app allows people — potential strangers — to possibly track and stalk others:  Read more...

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
