New 'Game of Thrones' pop-up bar in D.C. will take you straight to Westeros

Game of Thrones Season 7 doesn't come out 'til July 16, but there's good news for fans who want to get a bit more ~interactive~ with their GoT experience.

A new Game of Thrones themed pop-up bar in Washington, D.C., which opened June 21, has turned the nation's capital into King's Landing. The Game of Thrones Pub was put together by Drink Company, which recently threw together a Super Mario Bros. themed bar as well. 

There, you'll find an overload of GoT decorations that'll transport you right into seven kingdoms. According to the bar's website, there's a Hall of Faces, replicas of Daenarys' dragons, and an armory where all the house banners are boldly displayed. And of course, there's an Iron Throne where you can sit and pretend to rule Westeros with an iron fist.  Read more...

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
